Pesto
4 - 6 cloves garlic
1/2 cup pine nuts, lightly toasted and cooled
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
3 - 4 cups basil leaves, washed and dried
1/2 cup parsley, optional
olive oil
Combine garlic, nuts and cheese in food processor and pulse until finely ground. Add basil, parsley and enough olive oil to moisten. Continue to pulse to desired consistency.
